I like this but I like it as an alternate option for particularily sensitive items. It's a little harder to use than liquid dish soap and it also isn't going to replace the scrubbing ability. But for things where you can put up with those limitations, it's nice to have a super environmentally friendly and chemical free option.

The PLMI Dish Washing Bar Soap develops into nicely thick foam. I couldn't detect any smell to it, although I was hoping it would have a coffee smell. First time using a bar soap for washing dishes. One improvement may be to include something to store it in since it doesn't look the best if it's stored at the sink. If it is just left by the kitchen sink, most people will likely assume it is a bar soap for your hands. They could further wonder why someone left a bar soap from the bathroom in the kitchen.

This is a chunky bar of dish soap which is actually the first Ive seen in this form. While I like the clean ingredients and the very subtle scent of the oatmeal one, I find this not as convenient to use when trying to clean dishes in a hurry. I much prefer liquid over a bar.

I love the idea of this product - dish soap without the plastic packaging. Unfortunately it is too hard for me to become unaccustomed to using liquid dish soap. Liquid soap is just too easy. This bar works fine. The scent is very light, and it functions fine as a dish soap. I plan to keep this around as a backup for when I run low on the liquid stuff.

I have never tried a dish washing soap that came in bar form. I'm a convert. The coffee smell is very coffee - and on the bitter/astringent side, which I think fits well with cleaning your dishes. It's not a strong or super invasive smell, so it's really only if I actively smell the soap that I even notice it. Which is fine by me. I don't want a smell stuck to my dishwear. It's a good hard soap, but it foams up really well when you use it with a sponge or brush - it doesn't wear away quickly, although it will soften quite a lot if you accidentally leave it in a pool of water. Get a soap holder that drains well. It is a bit awkward that I have a brush with a reservoir for dish soap which is not useful. But using the brush on the soap and then dishes works well. I do want to find a way of placing the soap so dishwashing is efficient, I feel like I'm constantly grabbing it, and putting it down. I really like the form factor - I'm just alarmed at how many plastic bottles need to be a part of my life to have a normal, clean but not insane, safe American home. This looks like a great way to get rid of one stream of bottles in and out of my house.
