My daughter has the original board as well as a Cinderella pop up. She was very excited to add this to the game!
Nice game but extremely small!!!! Definitely not able to play it alone, I feel like hasbro made them this way on purpose to make you buy them separately and spend more money! Beside this, they definitely didn't think it through when designing this game. In order for you to play this with one of the other attachable games you would have to cover the chips with the same color otherwise you can easily recognize which chips are yours and win the xtremely fast. ( See picture to know what I'm talking about) Don't spend your money on this game.NOT WORTH IT!!!
The niece is obsessed with Frozen, still. She played this for what felt like hours. She enjoyed the colored game pieces, we also got her the Frozen Jr. Monopoly game, and the pieces are "frozen" which was a little less fun. She rated this 5 out or 5!
I bought this with the sole purpose of connecting all 4 pop games together. One major issue is that you can't connect it with all the pop up games. The Frozen pop game takes place for the Tangled pop up game. I did however just connected it to the Tangled version which worked out ok. Next issue is the character discs you collect for this game all say Frozen. They don't match the other character disc backs so they are easily noticeable. I have three daughters so with me and all 3 playing. One of us has to use another character. It is a cute game otherwise. My kids like to play this game and were excited about having Frozen characters just wish all 4 games were able to connect easily and the back of the discs weren't different.
I wish I could give this a 5-star review, but the lack of compatibility with the other Pop-Up Magic games leaves me stunned. The game is great. My kids love it. They beg me to play it. I usually comply. The problem is that the board is designed to work with several other Pop-Up Magic board games. It fits perfectly, but the gem tokens from this board game all say "Frozen" on the back, so you can only ever play with three people and with the three characters included. If you try to use the other gem tokens--which all say "Disney Princess" on the back--with these, it ruins the game play.
