I was curious

Ive been crocheting for 15 years So I was curious, how this yarn worked and how it felt. It is definitely different from other yarns Ive used. But not in bad way. The texture was definitely different But it was easy to work with! Which would be great for beginners. Which, I am not I also was very impressed, I with the hook that was included And I would be interested in how to get more hooks like it!

A 3.5mm Hook is Easier!

The set comes with a nice ergonomic beginners 4.0mm crochet hook, but I thought the yarn worked better with a 3.5mm hook. It was easier to push through my stitches and easier to pull my yarn through, too. The stitch markers work fine. The tapestry needle are plastic and work, but I find that metal ones are easier to pull through the spaces between the stitches and the stuffing. The eyes come with backs and were easy to insert. I used the light blue and red yarn to make a little bird. The yarn felt pretty much like all the other yarns of this same kind. Its harder to pull a magic circle closed with this yarn so I used my teeth and the yarn frayed a bit. I had trouble locating the end inside the skein for both colors (believe me, I dug around for a while!). I had to slide the label off and unroll them while crocheting. I didnt like that much but you can compare the unused green to the other colors to see how much yarn I used. This yarn is a jersey knit tube with a bit of stuffing inside. People also call this kind of yarn easy peasy. It is the same width, stretch, and feel as the W*obles yarn. All in all, it was a great yarn!
