Just installed both of them on my helmets, the trick is to place the speakers as close as posible to ears to have the best volume (could be loud if well installed) and confort, sound for music is ok, speaking in a full face helmet worked well, they could be just a little thin, perhaps to carv a little inside the polisterene to improve comfort. I don't use them to listen music or answer phone calls because it could distract me from road but in tests it works.

Tested at home and works great so far. Can't wait to get them on the road. Install was easy!

Bought from this seller because the 2-pack with additional mics is the best deal I found across ZeeBooth and eBay. I've used the earlier version of these and broke one in a crash. Was happy with those, but these new ones are even better. The range is great, battery life is fantastic, audio quality is very decent. Was able to clearly talk to my girlfriend on the opposite corner of a large Walmart with no distortion or cutting out. Music sounds good, can still hear pitch changes over the resonance of an engine and through wind noise in a motocross helmet. A day of riding might take up 15% battery life at most. Bluetooth and intercom connect quickly with no problems, and work with the older models as well. The only problem is the maximum volume is a bit low - but that's less a problem with the unit and more a problem with the helmet. If the speakers aren't centered over your ears, you might have trouble hearing someone over significant wind noise. The boom mic seems to give a slightly louder voice volume than the spot mic, so if concerned, go with that option, it's small enough to fit in any helmet. I recommend getting the pack with both mic options in case the wires get pinched, pulled, or cut. The description on that one is a bit unclear, if you get the 2 pack with both mic options, each intercom will come with 2 sets of mic/speakers - I was under the impression it was 1 of each but was pleasantly surprised. I recommend this to anyone I can as a much more cost effective and universal alternative to the Sena/Cardo problem. Oh, it also looks better than anything else on the market.

volume at level high is so low you can barely hear it over the bike idling

Works great. Bluetooth and functions work great. Only wish it was louder. Maybe better speakers would do the trick.
