I got something small enough to keep in my purse in the hopes of being more organized with notes and papers and I picked a bright color so it would be easy to spot. I like that it has a place to keep a pen so it's always right there with it. Seems to be made well, with two tassel bookmarks in it. And I really like that on the top of the pages it has a place for the date--which is certainly something you can do on any sheet regardless, but the prompt helps remind me to record that as well.

I really like this notebook - I have found it to be the perfect notebook for everyday carry, to jot quick notes while speaking to someone, when an idea pops into my head, or if I see something I need to follow up on. Yes, I know you can take notes with your phone, but you have to turn the phone on, log in, find the correct app, and then sometimes thumbs are too slow. All the while, the person you are speaking with is getting bored, and life is passing you by. I needed something to just whip out and jot something down, and then put away again. And then there is the issue of on the one hand "will you have it?", i.e. if the notebook is too large & heavy, you might leave it at home; and on the other hand, will it be so excruciatingly small that you can't hold it comfortably? After years of sub-par options, out of exasperation, I bought a whole bunch of different notebooks, and this one was the clear winner. It's very light, so perfect for everyday carry. It is just big enough with a hard cover so that you can jam it against your chest with one hand to stabilize it, and the included pens are comfortable and write well. It has a loop for the pen, an elastic to hold it shut (so the pages don't get massacred in your bag) and it has ribbon book marks so when you open it, it falls open to the first blank page. All around, a fantastic every day carry notebook!

As I have gotten older 72+ I find that black things are hard to see, esp. when sitting on something dark. These bright colors are easy to see. Also, it is handy when making to-do lists, which we all need at one time or another. A handy pen holder is great to have as well.

The media could not be loaded. These vibrant colored hard cover pocket journals are well-made. The size is perfect because if youre like me, you like everything organized in your bag or purse. Great for getting information when youre out and about. They are also great for networking. I have a small business, so they really come in handy for me. I would definitely buy again.
