Im not sure it reads correctly

Ive always had normal thermometers in my tanks and Im so used to cleaning my tanks Im pretty good at telling the temp just by the feel of the water now a days so when its telling me its at 77 in my fish tank and Im feeling the water to be close to a Luke warm Im sorry I just cant agree with this thermostat. Its gotta be off a bit cuz to me what 77 its saying actually feels closer to 79/80 to me and Ik 80 temps cuz I have to have my turtles tank at 78-80.. so Ik the feel. I just say be careful in trusting it completely. Always feel the water for yourself cuz youll know what just doesnt seem right. I still give it a 5 star cuz its cool looking, nice to press a button and go, and its stylish. Its easy to read and sticks really well. I have 2 of them. I just dont put all my trust into them thats all:)

I used this to stick on my fish tank. I love how I know the temperature of the water and have easy access to check it. Water temperatures are very important to fish! Make sure to get one. Itll give you the reassurance you need and keep your fish safe.

The only thing I dislike about this is that I'm worried I won't be able to get it off when I need to change the battery. That hasn't happened yet. Then I'm worried if the stickiness won't be there when I put it back on after a battery change. Haven't had to change the battery yet after a couple of months of use, so I'm hopeful the battery lasts a long time. I love that the display shuts off when you don't need it on. I don't check the temperature daily, but it's nice to know I can tap the screen to check the temperature and it'll be there in seconds.

Not accurate 100%

I got this for my axolotl tank, which the water temp is pretty strict 60~64 and I have a regular thermometer but I figured Id get a digital one. I use the regular one on 3 of my other tanks and its very accurate. This one says my tanks 67 when its actually 62.. so yeah but I guess its cool.

Didn't know if this would actually work at first since it's on the outside of the tank, but it does! I have 3 aquatic frogs and they destroy/knock off/ruin anything I put in the tank (cue "this is why we can't have nice things"). That being said, they CONSTANTLY knocked down my thermometer inside the tank. The first couple of days I left the thermometer in the tank to compare the two and they were always the same temp. I like how small and discrete it is on the side of the tank as well.
