Flexi New Classic Retractable Dog Leash (Tape), 16 ft, Large, Black...

I am using this for my 16 LB. Shih Tzu/Bijon. Light weight. Easy to use and luv the bight neon yellow color. More importantly I got it so that I could attach the poop bag holder to it. No longer have to tie bags to the handle of the leash or worry about wearing pants that have pockets to carry poop bags. This leash is light weight but strong enough to stop my dog from running ahead. The mechanism stops the dog without jerking him back. When I walk my 2 dogs I have one on this leash and my mini Schnauzer that likes to be right by me on another leash. I find it's no problem handling both leashes at the same time because this leashes is not cumbersome or over sized.

Why, you ask? Because the one arriving later today is replacing its predecessor which (I just looked it up) has lasted through 8 YEARS of daily use! Its isn't even broken - I just managed to scrape some of the rubber grip off and it was annoying to my OCD brain! It'll get tossed in the trunk for emergencies. This is the ONLY brand of dog leash I think I'd ever buy again. - It rewinds smoothly and rarely (if ever) fails to do so - Is incredibly durable and easy to clean (I just use a Clorox wipe every once in a while) - It holds the poop bags close at hand if you buy the attachment (which you should - and stop leaving your dog's poo on my lawn!) - It lets the little guy roam around while we walk and 16' lets him stop to smell the roses while I keep moving - It looks good while doing all of the above So, A BIG THANKS TO FLEXI for such a great product! Another brand I feel deserves praise is Ruffwear - they too make high quality products that work great and last through daily duty.

Our previous retractable dog leash started fraying and jamming after about 6 months of use. We needed a new one so I did some research and found this to be a reputable high quality brand. Have used the leash for a few days now and it seems to be performing better than our old leash. It does not jam at all, it retracts much quicker, and is tangle free. The size of the handle is perfect and fits snuggly in my hand. We will see how it holds out overtime, but so far so good! I highly recommend this leash!
