i thought i would have more uses for the product to be honest -- but perhaps its because of its appearance that i dont bust it out except on occassions when im alone and trying to film a demonstration and need my hands. otherwise you're going to look a little silly with a phone strapped to your head like this :) as i read in one review i recall before ordering -- theres a plate in the front that presses into your head, a little uncomfortably. it seems like the manufacturer may have remedied this some by including a foam pad that you can stick on the inside, providing some cushion -- but i still wouldnt call it comfortable to wear. If you have the need, it Will free up your hands to shoot videos if thats your aim... socially presentable - No. comfortable - Not really.

I wanted something to help me make review videos and make it easier to get a good view of items i'm holding in my hands. I have a large phone (iphone 12 pro max) so by the time I get everything rigged up, it's heavy and unwieldy and like others have mentioned, it's tricky to use without a remote. However, it does hold the phone where I need it to capture the footage I want but I'm just not sure this is the best solution for my needs.

I really wanted a GoPro to shoot some how-to videos. But I didn't want to shell out hundreds of dollars for the device. This harness really takes care of the need without costing a fortune. I can strap my iPhone mini securely to my head and it works just like a professional. The straps are adjustable and once I tinkered with it I was able to fasten everything perfectly with no jiggling. I put a bandana underneath it for extra comfort.

I thought this would be a good alternative to action camera headsets like GoPros and although it 'works', there are several considerations before you order. It is heavy. No sugar coating it, but it has to be as the base is metal and similar head mounts are very light due to the light nature of action cameras. It is bulky. The front mount sticks out a fair amount, not any different than action camera head mounts, but really far out. No remote. Most action cameras have a small remote to begin recording, so unless you have one from a tripod or similar device, it's very awkward to start and stop on your phone. Overall, it works and is sturdy - it is much more ridiculous looking than regular head mounts, but for the purpose of hands free, POV recording, it does the job. This phone head mount is a great idea for voting first person camera angles, but it's just not practical, the phone is too heavy and just starts tilting down, maybe if you had a lighter phone it might be better
