I couldn't finish the project because there were missing pieces and pieces didn't go into certain places as the instruction told. This building block kit was very hard to follow the instructions, and some of the pieces would not securely attach to the base and the other parts. It is a shame, because it is a really cool idea.

This review is for swan and flowers building kit from QARULUS, $20 on ZeeBooth. This is very nice Lego-Style building kit. There are 566 pieces. Pieces a very small/mini when compared to typical Lego-Style blocks. There are three bags marked 1 which get assembled starting on manual page 1. There are two bags marked 2 which get assembled starting on manual page 23. The full color glossy assembly manual is 38 pages long and has 95 assembly steps. They include a 7/8 long block with integral battery and slide switch that is attached to 20 inch long string of micro LED lights that can be coiled inside the dome for a special night-light effect. Youll need to raise the dome to access the on/off light switch. The finished swan and flower assembly fits inside a ~5 high, ~3-1/2 diameter crystal clear acrylic dome. The lite pink rotating base adds ~1-1/4 to the overall height. When base is hand wound it plays music. I am not familiar with the tune but it is very pleasant to listen to.

This is an absolutely beautiful set and I thought my 11 year old daughter would love it....especially with the music box incorporated into it. My daughter LOVES the micro block sets and usually doesn't have any, or very few, issues with reading the directions and putting them together so I figured she would do well with this. She was excited to get this and tear it open. The blocks came in a few bags, as most do. It also had a nice instruction manual. The instruction manual was fairly easy to read as I flipped through it. She had a strong start and didn't have any issues. I don't know what else to say but she just didn't like putting it together. She loves putting blocks together and this is not blocks. It's basically flowers, with holes in the centers, to try and sick on to stems or the "nubby" things on the piece. Her fingers hurt from trying to stick the flowers on and most kept popping off. My kids always keep tweezers near by for the micro block sets but you couldn't hold on to these with tweezers well due to the shape. I told her I would help her with it so she can have this beautiful piece sitting on her dresser but she said "nope, just do it for me". LOL! I think she's just done. I'll tackle it and see if I can do any better. She is however excited about the music box portion of it and the dome sitting on top. I'm hoping between those two she will give it a second chance with me. All in all I really do think this is a pretty set for a girl. The price really wasn't horrible for all that came with it. It's a challenge but we will give it a second chance.
