And let's not forget the refillable pages. It's like having a never-ending notebook, which is perfect for someone like me who can't commit to anything, not even a page in a notebook. Rings are a little difficult to open, but that's preferable to having your travel notes open in your bag and go everywhere. Cover is lightweight but feels good in hand, large enough to protect tabs as well as pages. Came with a decent amount of paper and dividers, pouch and credit card holders. Decently attractive so it won't embarrass you in front of your meeting when you pull it out, like a mangled spiral notebook might. Has the important pen slot because travel pens have some sort of intrinsic self-cammo that activates when you're frantically filling out a customs form at the border or trying to scribble your signature on yet another declaration of nothing to declare. I write a lot of notes and doodle while traveling/on public transit and this refillable journal is perfect for that. Wish it had stiff end papers to help the pages turn, but I'm getting a metal hole punch to put my brochures etc into the journal, so I'll contrive a piece of discarded xray film or something to keep the pages moving better. If you're tired of having spiral notebooks snag in your bag, or carrying three different notebooks for your various hobbies/notes, get this thing. As an aside, I'm pretty happy with how it snaps shut. A lot of lower-cost binders have the snaps break off really rapidly. This one looks like it's here to stay, and the rings likewise stay where they're intended. If you write/doodle/sketch a tree's worth every time you travel, this journal will help you organize all that. Buy some stick-on photo corners to add ticket stubs, postcards, and various travel ephemera to the pages. Happy scribbling!

This is great, soft leather like cover!! Perfect size

This very quickly became a must-have for my office. I love the color, though I will say there are a couple of marks that are on the front from where my nails stabbed it slightly and they don't seem like they're going away anytime soon. Also, if you're looking for a firm cover, this will not be what you're looking for. The cover for this binder is floppy, not a sturdy or stable writing source by itself. It isn't a big concern for me since I'm always at a counter or desk when I'm using it. The binder holds a decent amount of paper, right now I've got a mix of lined, dot, and blank sheets in it for everything I need. Opening the prongs is easy with pressing on the end tabs, but closing it requires pressing the prongs together. I think it is well worth the price I paid for it. It seems to hold up pretty well with everything I use it for. --Update-- Now it's February 2024 and this binder is still pretty much a daily carry. The seams and clasp have held up well. Nail marks from when I accidentally stabbed it last year are still present. Otherwise, this binder has been pretty durable these last five or so months.
