I've used brass quick-connects for my garden hoses for many years and usually after 2-3 years they leak, not because of the washer but I think because of corrosion. I'm trying this brand and will see how they hold up. One thing I like a lot is the ability to lock the male connector to the femaie - the latter has a set screw (which isn't shown or attention called to here) to do this. A nice addition. BUT I warn you, the ShowNew male MUST be connected to a ShowNew female. It's a micro-millimeter bigger and won't fit into another brand's female. Very frustrating until you figure this out. But they are def high-quality and I'll write a follow-up review next spring.

Makes changing hose and nozzles a snap. They don't leak at all and are easy to use. Bought several sets for all outside faucets and hoses.

This is my 2nd purchase of these. There work well for easy connect and disconnect of the hose and attachments. They do seem to disappear from time to time, not sure who in the house takes them off and loses them.
