I needed to have a 'vertical' outlet for my hose timer, and the outlet that I wanted to use on my 5-way splitter was horizontal. This worked well and was easy to thread on. It doesn't leak, and water flow through it is good.

We are working on landscaping for the yard and these have come in so handy! We're using them on one hose that we keep moving from one area of the yard to another and the hose doesn't tangle with these. They are easy to use and they come with extra washers. Using either the whole thing at the spigot or just one to connect another hose that's going to be twisted in another direction...they work. Cannot find any cons...they are made of brass, strong, no leaks...they work!

6-19-24 Solid brass with replaceable o-rings, you'll need your own snap ring pliers to access the o-rings. I wasn't able to find these at my local hardware store and was glad to find them online. I replaced two old elbows on my hose reel carts with these and voila no more leaks or spraying everywhere. No complaints here, they do exactly what they are designed for. These garden hose swivel elbow connectors are made well in quality to me. I like the solid brass materials. They are sturdy and strong. These 90 degree solid brass adapters are adjustable around 180 swivel. They work for me. I will see how long they last in next a few months before I may come back to update perhaps with more stars.

I stumbled upon the idea of using a pair of these for using a hose bib in an inconvenient location. Doubled-up allows for unlimited rotational options. They don't leak (with proper Teflon tape first), and rotate easily when no pressure is on. This helps keep a hose tidy against the building until needed.
