Great idea but my dog ripped them off the potty pad since he likes to chew any paper he finds on the ground. Maybe if I had used them when he was a puppy it would have been great.

Im have 2 dogs a 3 yrs old and a 7 yrs old. I got this for the 7 yrs old he has no aim. He wont go near it. He would rather pee on the floor. Not helpful. Im was hoping these would help.

Cheap target

I have a small male dog who stays in a room when I am out of the house as he has difficulty holding it. Using a pee pad alone wasn't working out for him as he didn't really seem to understand that he was supposed to pee on it (versus his bed). I bought the disposable pee pads with the pop up fire hydrant built in, and they worked great, but I wanted to find something a little more environmentally friendly that I could use with my washable pee pads. I saw these and thought they looked perfect! They work OK. My dog didn't pee on this like the other one, maybe because it is a paper material and not absorbent. I sprayed it with an attractant which didn't help. The other issue is that the adhesive is quite strong, almost too strong. I'm afraid it is compromising my pee pads. This may not be an issue for others who plan to only use the adhesive one time with a disposable pee pad, but then I fear this makes them even worse for the environment because these don't seem like they are biodegradable. Overall. they definitely come in handy and would likely work for most dogs.

Super cute

I wanted to give our male dog something to aim for while using a Fresh Patch, since he's squatted by the edge and sent pee splattering over the side. (In truth, he hasn't gotten the full point of the Fresh Patch yet he prefers going on walks when he can leave his calling card where other dogs do but that's a separate issue.) I turned a plastic cup over and attached the adhesive feet of a paper hydrant to it to give the hydrant a way to stay upright on the Fresh Patch. It has really good adhesive that should last the life of the Fresh Patch. Now we're crossing fingers that he'll figure out the point of the hyrdrant. :-)
