Goughnuts - Rubber Dog Chew Toy Med .75, Green, Ring...

We learned quickly that our German shepherd would destroy most toys after he shredded a red Kong, a black Kong, and a Kong ball in less than a month. Now, we have to be careful about what toys we select. He has had the black Goughnuts for over a year and, though it is rutted, he hasn't succeeded in chewing through to the core, even though it's his favorite toy. When our Aussie puppy started stealing his, we decided to get her her own. This is tough enough to withstand our German shepherd's "sharing" and so durable that we trust it in our Aussie's kennel (because we watched our shepherd chew diligently for months without being able to get any bites). Their teeth kind of slide off.

Does not float. According to Goughnuts website, Goughnuts Ring bounces, rolls and even floats. Seems like a quality product otherwise, but I specifically need something that floats, so I am unable to use this.

This toy is as tough as can be. We have a 14 month old standard poodle who is constantly chewing on everything. Nyla bones? Gone. Tug toys? Obliterated. Stuffies? Murdered. Buying new toys is a constant struggle, because the moment she has nothing to chew she starts cracking her nails open. Yes, you read that right. So we got her this toy and its actually pretty darn tough! It bounces and rolls, so she enjoys chasing it. The only down side is we realized shes not a big rubber fan. So it isnt chewed on a ton but it keeps her from bitting her nails. So a win is a win.

Finally, a chew toy that lasts longer than 2 minutes! We have 45lb pittie mix who would be considered a power chewer. She has destroyed every chew toy we have tried in seconds. I sized up as recommended so I think its a little too big but she still likes it and its lasted over a week with NO chunks chewed out, which is a record by far!

I have a really aggressive 60lb staffy that can pull a Kong Extreme apart in about 2 hours. She has been giving this Goughnut everything she has for about 2 weeks and its still in one piece! I think its because of the shape, there are no sharp corners for her to find a weakness. Its a little heavy to throw but will roll a long way.
