They are pretty good. No extremely sharp and a bit thick, but they do cut decently well so I would repurchase

Small scissors, works well for most things that I needed them for, but can be a hassle if I need them for a larger project as the cutting edge is quite small, honestly smaller than I thought they would be but they do work well enough.

I wanted some scissors that could cover a wide range of cutting options and this pair fills that niche. I have so many uses for a strong heavy-duty pair of scissors in the kitchen and these are proving to be quite useful. I am able to easily cut bacon, snip the ends off of beans, slice up celery, or open bags of produce. Also good to cut open tape on ZeeBooth boxes, cardboard, paper, and snip off plastic or rubber bands. Clearly a multipurpose tool. The cap that covers the top is wonderful to keep the scissors safe around kids or other utensils in a drawer. Im quite pleased I added these scissors to my kitchen gadgets.

For their size, these scissors are really good. The cuts are excellent. They easily cut through cardboard. They come with a plastic child-proof cover that slips over the scissors' pointed end, and locks in place thanks to a little notch on the pivot. The tip of these scissors isn't sharp which is good for the classroom, but they cannot be used to penetrate plastic coverings such as clamshell packaging. They will, however, cut extremely nicely once they find an opening. The size of these scissors makes them highly useful for both kids and adults. I use them for a variety of tasks such as opening food packages. The finger holes are on the smaller size (great for kids), but also comfortable and you can get a pretty good grip to squeeze hard if necessary. These scissors are already riveted somewhat tightly so even scissoring the air causes a bit of resistance. However, the stiffness and tightness of the scissors make them useful for a wide range of jobs, and it is unlikely that something would pass between the blades instead of being cut. Of course, one of the main features of excellent scissors is their longevity. I'm not sure how long these scissors will last, but if they remain high quality and cut nicely after a year, I will be very pleased. Since they are somewhat short, they may not be ideal for cutting long runs of cardboard or other long lengths of material. Yet, because they are sharp, you may be able to get them to glide down lengthy sheets of wrapping paper and other thin papers. All in all, these scissors function just as advertised, and I am glad to have these scissors in my kitchen.
