The media could not be loaded. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE WHEELS. My cat, Lucille, shown in the photo, brought four baby wild mice into my bathroom from our yard. One each day for four days. She was careful and seemed to be giving me a treat each time she dropped a mouse in front of me, never injuring them. Being that they were caught in our yard and Lucille has the run of the yard, I know I can't let them go there... All four mice LOVE the two wheels and now jump back and forth from wheel to wheel while running on them extremely fast. They're kind of like wheel surfers now. The video attached is one of the wild mice that instinctively knew what to do within a couple of minutes of installing this running wheel... Now all 4 mice are the most athletic mice I've ever seen thanks to the wheels. The wheels spin extremely fast and are very smooth and quiet. The mouse you see in the video is now a marathon runner on the wheel along with all of them. The mice will have their new home installed at another house outside that is safe from our cat near the wild with lots of places to go. We feel they will keep their house with the wheels. It should be interesting to see what they decide to do.

I have bought a bunch of hamster wheels that broke easily and felt cheap (but were far from it). This wheel is made extremely well and not only feels solid but looks great. I have a hamster setup in an aquarium so I put command strips that have Velcro on it to hold it in place and still easy to remove and clean. My cute hamster is kinda bonkers and loves to flip anything over that isnt secured down. LOL For some hamsters it is made solid and you may not need to secure it. But if you have a crazy I mean cute hamster that loves to flip stuff over the command strips work great too.

The wheel is great to use when secured to the hamster's habitat wall. I recommend use for this purpose! I do not recommend for use on the included stand because the top portion is heavy and prone to injure hamsters if they tip it over trying to use it incorrectly as hamsters are like curious kids and like to climb on anything. Reason for two less stars. The wheel itself is quiet and excellent quality!

Bought this for a tiny rescue mouse , he is so small as you can see, yet it spins very easy with no noise. The wheel height easily adjusts so he could walk right in when he was just learning. With the base below the wood chips it's very stable and not tippy at all. This size perfect for mice or dwarf hamsters.
