I bought this weeder hand tool mostly to go after dandelions in the yard, and for that it is a nice tool. The handle is comfortable, and so far the construction seems sturdy -- I don't get the feeling that the joint where the handle meets the blade is likely to give out, but we'll see how it holds up over time. The front fork part is where you get the most value -- once you get used to it, the fork grabs dandelion roots below the surface pretty well, without cutting them short. You'll still want to pull with your other hand for best results, but the fork definitely helps, especially with dandelions which stay close to the ground that don't really have much you can grab onto. I've used the saw blade on the side to rip apart a cardboard box, and for that sort of work it was fine. I don't know how well it would work on tree branches or similar -- the saw teeth are kind of thick, might work in a pinch but I think I'd reach first for my shears or a proper saw for bigger jobs. There are a few tools like this on ZeeBooth and elsewhere, some marketed under different brands and names. There may be differences in construction or quality, hard to tell from looking at pictures. This one seems like a pretty good tool for the price.

I ordered this to remove pop-up trumpet vines since removing this horribly invasive plant to my garden. I need to dig deep to remove & this makes it relatively easy. While this plant will probably out live me & all those that follow.. at least now, I can keep it at bay :)

This is a good tool but be careful the handle attached area is not as sturdy as I would like. I can feel it flex and that means to me it will break at that point after time and use. To the maker Maybe use a hard wood handle and a tougher adhesive.

This the best I have used, removes the whole thing including the roots, I wish they would design one with longer handles.
