I have used many hose nozzles. They always seem to have issues with turning the water on or off easily with their squeezing-type levers. This thumb control is amazing; I love it so much! I have no issues with starting and stopping the flow of the water, and it is a comfortable fit in my hand.

What a surprise this hose nozzle is! It's very sturdily made - I think it might last a long time. It has a pressure rocker that allows a variable strength of water between nothing and giving her all she's got. The angle of the nozzle relative to the handle is unchangeable, but I had no problems using it with its fixed angle. I like all the different spray options. The single jet-stream option was *very* strong when the nozzle was fully open and actually (accidently) removed some old stain on a deck I was prepping for a new coat. I have zero complaints. The current price is under $15 and that's a great price for a quality item.

This is pretty solid & quality hose nozzle. It's plastic with some rubber components for grip. Like most plastic hose nozzles this probably won't hold up more than a summer or two if you leave it exposed to the elements all year, but that doesn't diminish the quality. The rubber seals inside are much higher quality than I expected. I've had this on for a week. I use it daily and my kids play with it quite a bit and it doesn't leak at all from the connection or from any of the other components (and that's with my kids constantly tossing it on the pavement) This turns on with a thumb lever rather than a squeeze grip. The lever is incredibly smooth and easy to use. I love that you can easily set it to the pressure level you want & it just stays on at that level. This has a lot of various spray patterns that you can switch by turning the head. This part is also incredibly smooth and easy to turn. Both the lever & spray settings are intuitive and are easy enough to operate that my 4 year old can do it on his own. I don't have much use for most of the settings but if you have any sort of garden this is for sure going to have a setting suitable for most plants. As far as the water pressure this nozzle actually provided more pressure on the heavy settings than the nozzle that came with our expanding hose so that's a big plus. Overall I don't have any complaints. As long as it holds up all summer this is a pretty solid product.

The spray nozzle is entirely made of plastic, so I dont know how long it will last. If you are careful with it, dont toss it with the hose on the ground, it should last a while. For the price I would have expected a bit more metal. That aside, the guide for the spray patterns is not helpful for most of them. I am showing these in the attached photo. There are two that make sense but the rest I have no idea what the difference is from the diagrams. Most spray nozzles indicate the spray pattern in words. The sprayer attaches easily to my hose and does not leak.

I've had plenty of these nozzles over the years, and this is one of the better ones I've seen. What I like: 1. The grip is not slippery; the handle has a good feel to it, made of a soft-ish high friction material. 2. The spray settings are well done and precise. The jet stream setting is very concentrated and goes a long, long way. 3. The hose fitting has a good o-ring and does not leak at all. 4. The thumb control can be adjusted for any amount of water flow. I think I will keep this one handy for watering plants or washing the car.
