Every spring, my 14-year-old long-haired cat gets very matted, very quickly. Shedding comes on so quick, and he doesnt particularly like to be brushed. Although I have a great brush that has the blades to shred mats, his tend to be too thick and painful on his old skin. Brushing seems uncomfortable, so I used a groomer. My poor, sweet natured guy was traumatized, and it was expensive. And dont get me started on the perils of using scissors to cut the mats . So I decided to buy a quiet pair of clippers to help him out at home. Boy am I glad I found this product! It worked fantastic right out of the box. I let him feel the vibration on his back, And showed it to him before we got started. I fed him treats before and after. My old man kitty did not seem to mind. It cut through his mats with quiet ease. Not a single nick on his delicate skin. I love that it is cordless too. He sat for a 30 minute shave, and only complained for last two minutes of it. He feels so much better, and I do too. Now I have a little house lion.

Just a nice little unit. Been using it on an old dog for nasty mats, daisy & marigold & sticky seeds. Cat not okay with it, but she hates mat removal. Period. I just use the basic blade and haven't done long grooming sessions but I've yet to need to recharge the clipper. Nice when something just does what you need it to do.

MY vet showed me hers to help my Goldens get the matts out of thier hair. They swim everyday and no matter how much i brush them they inevitably get ear infections and dreadlocks. This only helps with the latter, but they work great for that. They are small and most importantly for the dogs quite and far less scary thn full size clippers. No they wouldn't be good for a full hair cut, but if you need to trim a small area or remove dreds on your pup they made life easy. well woth the $16 bucks.

I have been in vet med for about 20yrs, and these clippers are easy to carry in a pocket. So that when you are on the floor, you can grab them and shave for catheters or hot spots. Easy to charge and store. Small enough and quiet enough that patients dont get scared when you pull them out to shave or prep areas for catheters, wounds, etc. love these, a lot of my vet med family got me addicted to these.
