Hard to keep charged

I haven't been a big fan of hot glue guns, until now. Not having a cord in the way, which also tends to knock them over is a game changer. This one's been great. Similar heat up time to corded. Push button till it beeps on, then it beeps to indicate it's ready. Hold button to turn off when finished using. I bought 8" sticks and that makes it even better.

A hot glue gun is a super handy tool to have on hand for many uses. I was in the process of moving recently, and several keepsake items ended up getting damaged in the move. With this hot glue gun, I was able to get them repaired with little to no knowledge from others that they were even damaged in the first place. This kit comes with everything you need to get started with whatever needs glued together. It has plenty of glue sticks, some fingertip protection that covers a wide range of fingertip diameters, and it even has a base to center under the tip for the inevitable hot glue drips. What's even better in that regard is that they give you a couple of those bases! I've had hot glue guns before that didn't include anything like that, so I had to sacrifice something to keep under it just in case while working. I also love the compact size of this hot glue gun. My last one was kind of large, and weighed a whole lot more than this one does. When you're finished working with it, with everything be some compact, it all fits neatly into a small corner of your desk, or a bag, or just about anywhere until you need to use it again. This kit is a great addition to my project needs!

Cordless Glue Gun I gave up on glue guns years back but I recently realized they have cordless options now! My house doesnt have a ton of outlets and having to run an extension cord to glue a few things was a deterrent to pulling it out. I also like that I can take this with me when I go to fix my geocaches. I am not brave enough to glue gun on the bus, or at a cafe, but with cordless freedom, now I could. This is pretty simple to use. Charge it up using the included USB-C cord. Then, to turn it on, just hold the power button until it beeps and the light turns red. It will take about three minutes to fully heat up and then it will beep and the light will be green. Note: It took me multiple squeezes of the trigger to get the glue loaded and going the first time. When you are done and want to turn it off, push and hold the power button for around three seconds. Other good stuff: I liked that this glue gun has a folding stand that you can open when you want to put it down. There are also two silicone drip plates. This was very handy when I put the glue gun on my desk and had partially squeezed trigger as I was doing so. The disk caught the drips and the glue peeled off easily once it hardened. It also comes with six finger protectors. I should probably use these so I dont burn myself but havent yet tried them. Do note that the mini glue sticks are, well, mini. You will run through them quickly. This is normal. The glue gun comes with a bunch of them and they are inexpensive and easy to find when you run out, which you probably will if you are like me and are making up for lost time gluing everything in sight. Oh and one other plus: if you forget to turn off the glue gun, it will shut off after 15 min. Overall, this is a good product and I recommend it!
