I ordered this for a specific job in my yard. That was to Trim my big agave plants. Anyone who's Trimmed them knows it could be quite difficult. It did a lot better than I expected. Plus worked great for many different applications in the yard.

I was a bit disappointed at the size at first but this is a mighty tool in the garden. Buy a sharpener of some sort if you dont have one; the blade is carbon steel so it takes an edge well but will need resharpening with hard use. Clean and dry it off carefully after use or it will rust. I wipe it down with a little WD40 to prevent rust.

The media could not be loaded. I chose this one because it is the most authentic for real use. I am harvesting grass for my horses. This tool is extremely sharp and well defined. Very easy to use. It will take you so much less time and effort when you use this. It makes tasks fun, efficient and effective!

I bought this to trim weeds in my yard. Two things I noticed: 1) The blade was not straight in its handle, so I had to manually straighten it. 2) The cover is pretty flimsy and the tip is too long for the actual scythe. It works as intended and is sharp enough. Just don't expect it to survive in a zombie apocalypse or whatever. Just putting it out there.

Ive had a tool like this for years and it makes such short work of weeding. It stays pretty sharp for a long time and even your kids can use it with ease. I left my old one out in the rain by mistake and it got some rust on it.it still works but isnt as nice looking anymore. I think Ive had it 6yr now. We were outside and my husband heard me saying that Id left it out etc and Id probably need to sharpen it soon.so he picked up my phone and ordered me a new one.but he got a left handed so.im not fond of that mistake lol. I can still use it for large areas but I need to get the right handed one if I have to work up close to plants because u might accidentally Nic a stem if u dont have the fine control the proper handed tool would give.
