When you need to make inline connections on JST connectors, you NEED this kit. Most if not all of the JST kits come with female connectors and Male PC Board connectors. But an inline connection needs these male connectors. They work, don't get me wrong, but I have big hands and these things are tiny. I bought the red and blue handled Knoweasy JST Crimper and the Qibaok Dupont Crimping Tool Ratcheting Crimper. They each have their benefits, but it's still a matter of getting those tiny pins into the crimper, then setting the wire in. (Definitely in that order) The Qiabok has a nice explanation of how to crimp them. I used these when I was putting a Dell Micro PC inside a classic XBox case as a retro gaming machine. I connected the Xbox case's original gaming controller ports to the USB Ports and needed JUST a little more room. So I made the two inline connectors to add just a little more length. I also replaced the battery box on several Jingle Pigs. You can see the broken box. I got new boxes here on ZeeBooth and put an nice inline connector set in here using this JST Male connector set. This set has a good selection of pin counts and quantities. Buy it, keep it on hand and you'll suddenly see how many times you need it.

These are made with solid parts and will work fine for most needs within the limits of 24awg wiring.

Im a big guy with big hands. It takes some practice to get the hang of crimping these little guys. The results are worth it.
