Works With Older Canon Cameras

Anyone that owns older Canon DSLR cameras is familiar with the BP-511 battery. Ive been using the BP-511 batteries since I purchased my first Canon Rebel nearly twenty years ago. Also fits my 10D, 20D, 40D and 5D so its a pretty common battery. The camera reads this battery just like the Canon OEM batteries This charges from any USB charger and also works on the usb chargers in my car. If you still own any of these older Canons like I do, these are a great value for the twin pack and it comes with the charger.

Works perfectly

I own multiple Canon EOS 20D cameras. I started with these in 2006 and have collected them and the accessories since then. My batteries are showing their ages and starting to wear out. I was thrilled to find this battery package. I charged up both batteries, using the included charger (which is lighter than the original chargers I have). Then the test...the batteries work great in my cameras. I have yet to take enough photos to see how the battery charge compares to my original batteries, and I have not had these long enough to see how the life compares. (I'll get back to this after 20 years.) I think the $17 price tag is extremely reasonable.

Batteries and charger for a very reasonable price.

A couple of years ago, I purchased a used Canon 10D from a friend, but since then have had problems with the battery going dead only after 20-30 shots. When this happened, I had put the camera away for some time never getting around to buying a new battery. I had seen this ad for two batteries and a charger, so I figured it was time to bring the camera back to life. I found the battery cases were well made and was pleasantly surprised that they each included a cover to protect the terminals when not in use. Ive found that many battery suppliers dont include any covers. The charger was a single port only and it worked fine with a USB cable that I have been using around the house for several years. It took about three hours to charge the first battery and so far, no problems. At this time, I am unable to determine how many shots I can take, but if I find an issue with that, I will update my review. If I only get 50-75% of the shots compared to the Canon made battery, I will be pleased keeping in mind what the originals had cost.
