I wanted to get kid headphones for my toddler and preschooler. We tested these out before our trip and they work great. They both really enjoy having their own headphones and it helps keep the noise level down. It is very comfortable and soft. The colors are vibrant. Very good for younger kids and love that it comes in a 2 pk. Great bang for your buck!

My daughter (8yo) goes through headphones exceptionally fast. She's just really rough on them. We tried a set of wireless headphones, but they don't connect well without help. Every set of wired headphones we've given her the cord gives out because she bends and pulls and plays with it. I wondered if these might work better because they are meant for a classroom setting, and so far they have held up wonderfully! Usually by now (she's had them a couple of months) we've had at least one issue, but they are still going strong. I'm keeping the second pair as a backup, but I have high hopes it won't be needed. She says they are comfortable and they sound great. The noise canceling must work really well if her inability to hear us when we call is any indication. lol

We needed an extra set of headphones for a recent family vacation, so when I got the opportunity to try these ones to review, it was perfect. They are plain, no-frills youth headphones but get the job done perfectly. I actually like them better than the $30 pairs I bought for my older kids to use at school. I had them bring those home to use on vacation and then order this set for my youngest child. All the kids ended up fighting over who got to use these headphones and no one wanted to use the either of the fancier, more expensive pairs. In fact, after we got home from vacation, the two older kids begged me to let them take these ones back to school instead of the nicer ones, and now the nice ones sit at home getting dusty as spares. Why do we like these so much better than the more expensive set? 1. The cord is permanently attached to the headphones, rather than needing to be plugged in. This is both a pro and a con. Its a con because if the cord breaks or stops working basically the whole headset is useless and youll have to get a new set, but these come in packs of two, and are very inexpensive for headphones, so this isnt as big of a problem to me. Plus, these were put through the wringer, being packed and unpacked and shoved in bags and whatnot on vacation, with no signs or wear and tear. I have a feeling it would take a lot to wreck these. Pros: the kids can just grab these and plug them into their tablets and theyre ready to go. No fiddling around with losing or finding a cord thats separate from the headphones, and then having to make sure theyre plugged in correctly on both ends. My kids are pretty young still (the oldest is 7), so having to fiddle around with stuff too much gets frustrating, plus theyre prone to losing small parts. Having the cord attached to the headphones solves both of those issues. 2. Simple design = easier for young kids to use and less chances of them breaking. The nicer sets have volume controls and microphones and can be used either with the cord or wirelessly and a few other features that Im not even sure what theyre for. My kids havent needed the microphones yet (probably would be a good feature for students who do E Learning though, just not useful for my kids). And the only time they really use the volume control is when they accidentally bump it and turn the volume way down or way high and cant figure out whats going on. Theyll be trying to adjust the volume on their tablets to no avail, and then realize they bumped the volume knob on the headphones. Just like the detachable cord, for younger kids, this is just more of a frustration than anything else. With these simpler headphones we just control the volume right on the tablet which is much easier. 3. The bright colors are more appealing to my young kids than the cool looking more expensive headphones. As $13 for a two-pack, I plan on buying another set in different colors, so all 3 of my kids have their own, plus a spare in case one breaks or gets lost. We will either be saving the more expensive pairs for when theyre older or just getting rid of them altogether. TL/DR: these simple, no frills headphones are perfect for our family and actually work better for us than pairs that are 3-4x the price with more features. The simple design, bright colors, and ease of use make these perfect for young children and the low cost make them more economical in the event they get broken or lost. However they seem very sturdy and unlikely to break with normal, everyday use. 5/5 stars.

Kids break stuff. These headphones haven't broke yet! I picked up this two pack of headhones for my two kids. The bright colors are nice. I like that you get two difference colors so each kid can have their "own." The fit is adjustable and the pads are comfortable on your ears. There is no pad for your head. Not a big deal since that part of the headphones doesn't really rest on your head. They are lightweight. The speakers pivot and can lay flat. I like that the audio chords is flat. Les likely to tangle. The sound is passable. Definitely acceptable for kids' use. The finish of the plastics isn't the greatest but so far they have held up to the kids abuse. Time will tell how long they last.
