You just open the box and throw one in the wash. It was confusing for my brain at first because they look like dryer sheets. they smell good also

I'm in the process of using. And I'm comparing several brands. Using in a new machine, and I've taken some with for trips. I'm still not convinced they are equal to a quality powder or liquid (I use Tide). I have been using various sheets for a couple years. Friends have given me theirs after giving up, so I get to try more brands. Current opinion - they do clean, just not as well as regular detergent. Previously I noticed using laundromat in Mesa, AZ that clothes tended to be grayish when washed with regular detergent. This was primarily due to the hard water. Washing same clothes elsewhere minimized gray look. I'd compare that gray look to what I see now with sheets in softened water in MN. I'll keep using them up, but I'll retain for dark clothes. They all smell clean, just not look completely clean.

I've been using this for over a year and am happy with it. No plastic waste, space saving and it works! I do wish it had a natural scent.
