Handy for those who have both lightening bolt and USB-C devices

Both my husband and I had phones that used lightening bolt cables to recharge. Recently, I upgraded my phone to one that used a USB-C connection. This meant that we could no longer use the same cable to recharge our phones. Not the end of the world, but a bit of a pain because we had to carry two different cables in our car that only had one USB port. The USB port is inside the middle console of the car and it is a huge pain to plug in a USB cable because of the angle in which the plug has to be inserted. Now, with these adapters, it doesnt matter which cable we have plugged in to the USB port, we can use the adapter to make it compatible with the other phone. I gave this product an extra star because they thought to enclose tether cords so that the adapter doesnt get too far away from the cable when it is not in use. My photos show one lightening bolt cable (on the right) and one USB-C cable (on the left) with their respective adapters off and on.

Charges slower than some, but works.

I have purchased several of these adaptors since I still use an older iPhone with lightning and some don't always work in the car or with some chargers. This one works well across all of the chargers I have tried and the silicone leash is a nice touch. I have found the charging rate to be much slower than other options and I am not sure why. For me personally, I don't use the lightning to USB-C as much since that is dramatically slower than keeping a USB-C cable and using the usb-c to lightning adaptor instead. Overall the price is good even if I only use two of them, but it does feel a little wasteful.

I was about to buy another lightning to USB C cable, but didnt want to waste my money seeing as future iPhones will all be usb c. This adapter snaps right on to my usb c to usb c cable fits perfect. Easy to snap on & off. Stays snug, quality is decent. Love the grey color. Definitely happy its a great value for the price. My phone charges up quickly even with this piece on it performs well. Simplified charging as we move to USB-C

I got this set of LERTOSEN Lightning/USB-C adapters because more and more all of the things I get are USB-C connections, but I still have some lightning devices and will for the foreseeable future. I have a charging area where I have multiple cords but only a couple of powered USB-A spots. I have been needing to swap cables more and more often to charge my devices and sometimes have plugged in something to charge only to find the other end of the cord was not connected to the block. This allowed me to set up two USB-C chargers in my charging spot but have the lightening adapters tethered to them so that I could charge most things without having to swap out the cables. On a rare occasion I need to get a cable for micro USB, but this covers 90% of my charging needs and keeps my charging area neater and is more convenient. For the other two lightning to USB chargers, these went into my car so that I could continue to use my lightning cable for CarPlay but when my wife was with me, we could hook her new phone up to CarPlay with quickly and easily without needing extra cables in the car. What I really like about this set is that the four pieces cover most of my charging needs and are a great value. This one set alone covered all of my uses in one go so I'm never inconvenienced by not having an extra cable around. The included rubber tethers ensure you can attach the adapters to the cables too, so you don't risk losing them. They have worked for charging as well as data so they do everything I need.
