I bought this to practice how to do wings and cut crease but the texture is really rubbery. It works overall for eyeshadow.

The silicone surface of the skin has more of a tacky feeling than I was expecting. It feels like it could attract dust or dander and sort of hold it there very easily. The powders I use sink into the silicone and get into the pores of the plastic quickly. When I use the included makeup brushes on it, there's a subtle drag on the bristles that makes my brushstrokes feel sticky and uneven. It's feels very different from real human skin. (Duh, right? But it bears repeating.) There's a little "shelf" underneath the eyelids where you might be able to attach false eyelashes if you're careful. I'm not too patient, so I couldn't get them on. The skin is also a more deeper chocolate-like color than what is displayed on the preview photo. It's not bad, but it *is* very different. On the flip-side of the eyeplate is a hard backing of resin/plastic with hard texture and heavy weight. If you tip the eyeplate on its side, it can stand on its own when its placed on a table or level surface. 'Kinda cool. There's an odd piece of plastic included in the box that looks like a primitive wrench or arm, but I'm not sure what it does since there are no instructions included. I decided to leave it inside the container. Overall, this a pretty useful tool for practicing makeup on darker skin. 4 stars.

This is a cute little practice make up mannequin. I'm pretty good with make up (on myself) however sometimes you just want to play. This came with everything as pictured and packaged snuggly. I received a nude skinned mannequin with chocolate brown eyes. I can't wait to play around when I'm bored. I don't often wear make up so I can keep my skills ready. I do want to note that I think just about all the texts are (I think) in Chinese.

This is a very beautiful, and very realistic way to learn to do makeup, lashes, and brows. This looks like a real person's face. It even feels like the skin is more natural than the other plastic faces, or other mannequin heads I've used, thus far! I was surprised at how easily eat actually was able to retain the makeup on the plastic, and also amazed at how easily the removal liquid took it off! You get all the goodies you'll need to start out doing basic makeup, and strip lashes with this kit. With a few extras like some individual lashes, professional glue, and eyebrow mapping stuff you can learn the rest. So this is a great help for anyone wanting to be in the cosmetology field. Plus it doesn't break the bank like other sets I've seen. This is a great value, and a great learning tool. I most definitely recommend!

This Pengo Makeup practice face board is great for new makeup users, or for someone who just loves art. Makeup goes on smoothly, and comes off easily with an oil based cleanser. We got a bunch of blushes, eyeliner, and shadows to play with. My granddaughter loves it. I love it since she is practicing on this instead of her own face. Perfect gift.
