Well made, cute collar

My daughter and I have been somewhat at odds about and appropriate collar for her 3 year old dog. She prefers a buckle style collar but complains about how much her dog pulls when on the leash. I had been recommending a choker style collar to help teach her not to pull. This collar perfectly combines a cute style (for my daughter) with a choker style that has really helped with leash training. Super cute, well made. Two thumbs up!

Pretty for a Princess

Greyhounds are only able to wear Martingale collars so it is always nice when one pops up that is pretty and in the right size! Our 80 pound girl is confident and muscular so sometimes people assume she is a boy instead of the princess baby she really is. I like to put her in collars with delicate and pretty patterns to help her true self show. This collar is so sweet. I tend to like the thicker, (two-inch or larger) collars best, but the thinner ones work just as well. This one has the partial chain to pull tight on the collar as needed and sturdy hardware to connect the leash too. This particular style was available in other patterns as well so I will likely be ordering more in the future!

Nice light weight martingale collar

This is a nice light weight collar. The collar does not have a buckle at all which I thought was odd. You have to put the collar on large and then adjust it down to your dog's neck. The pattern is screen printed on the collar. I have not kept the collar on our dog because it makes me nervous that there is no buckle for a faster release in the case of an emergency.

Martingale's All the Way for Oddly Shaped Heads

I got this collar after my dog essentially ate the buckle off of his last one. Martingale collars are very useful for dogs with oddly shaped heads, and I wouldn't want any other type of collar. Even some dogs that look normal (like mine) can somehow wrangle themselves around to catch the collar and just knaw it off (like mine). When this came up under recommendations I knew I wanted it, as I knew they are the *required* collars for Greyhounds, and figured if it works for them it should work for mine. It is working wonderfully for a good number of weeks so far. It can be tight enough that it does not come off on its own, but any pressure or pull it tightens without harming the dog, which I find grand.
