This is my second of these types of bracelets and they seem to work fine for keeping the mosquitos away from at least that arm/side of my body. I feel like citronella needs to be all around you to really keep the mosquitos away from all sides, though, so I'm hoping if i wear two of these, one on each wrist, it'll start to envelop me in a cloud of citronella scent. This feels as nice as my previous one with a flexible soft silicone rubber that holds on to my wrist comfortably. It's easy to insert and remove the little citronella rods though I wish there was a cap or something that I could put over the end that vents the scent to possibly preserve it more effectively for a repeat use. But in general I like the idea of these since I don't have to get spray or balm etc on my skin and clothes making cleanup after being out for a while simpler.

This bug repellent bracelet is quite trendy and sleek looking. It fits any wrist size. I love that it comes with refills and isn't made with harsh chemicals. Is has a pleasant scent and so far has worked really well at repelling mosquitos. I work outside all day long and haven't been bitten once. I'd definitely say it is worth the cost.

I wear this all the time and it really works, especially on walks in the woods, where I used to always be bothered by flying, biting things, but not anymore!! Fashion meets function here!

I've been looking into mosquito repellent options because the mosquitos are really bad around my complex while walking my dog, and I hate having to spray so often just to go out for a few minutes. The product comes with one nice looking wristband, with multiple refills. With just one refill in each end, after a few days, the scent becomes faint so I'm not sure how often I need to replace them and if I need to put multiple refills at once. However even when I walked with it on, I got a mosquito bite on my wrist right next to wear I was wearing the wristband so it doesn't bode well if it can't resist at that short of a distance.

First off: I am the person who gets bit all the time. And my friends who say the same thing always sit next to me and are shocked by how they don't get bitten because I attract all the mosquitos. I hate it. We have mosquito traps and citronella plants in our yard. I still can't enjoy a cup of tea in my yard without too many bites. The other day I put this to the ultimate test, I was outside for 2.5 hours chilling in the shade next to my bougainvillea, where all the mosquitos like to chill as well. After wearing this on my right wrist for 2.5 hours, I came in with 5 bites on my arm, and none anywhere else. For reference, the other day I sat in the same spot for less than 30 min and had over 23 bites on one arm, and many others scattered on ankles and feet. So that's a win, if not a full preventative. It's a pretty nice sleek design, the black and copper style is comfortable to wear as well. The little essential oil rods are the magic that gets placed inside the band, I'm not sure how long they last and need to be replaced, but it does come with 5 sets, so that's helpful.
