They get the job done well. The flipper melted a litte after cooking a few meals, but it'll take a few trips for it to be an issue.
I will revise when used outdoors over campfire (Cobb cooker). They work great indoors: Since 1990, everything MSR has served me super well; and I expect the same of this set!
Returned for something that didnt feel so cheap and flimsy.
I just got them in the mail. They are bigger than i wanted. Theyre full size utensils. I was looking for small ones for my pack. The pictures did not show the size of them in comparison. But they are well designed an seem sturdy.
Love this set of cooking tools. They are light. Durable, and pack down well. I used them in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and they did all that we asked of them! The one gripe is that the folding design which works great for packing and helps with weight sometimes cause the utensil to fold when in use. To fold the spoon for example, you pinch the handle and it releases the end from the handle allowing it to fold. When using any of the tools its possible to pinch the handle and have it want to fold. Otherwise, great stuff!
