This mask set comes with a huge syringe which is filled with product. Since it comes with two sheets, it makes sense that you would use half the syringe per application. But, I thought I could get away with less, because even 1/4 of it felt like a generous coating. However, once I applied the sheet mask, I realized that it definitely needs a thicker coating to really adhere and activate. Something about putting the sheet on made the ingredients feel more active. The parts that adhered better tingled a bit. Still, I didnt find it irritating at all. Skin feels smooth after.

After applying the gel and then the mask for a 20-minute session, the bubbles from the mask tickled a lot. Once removed, my skin was noticeably red but felt plump and smooth. The redness subsided by the next day, and I enjoyed the results for about a week before applying another mask for a similar effect. While it effectively made my skin look nice and plump, I do find the current price somewhat expensive.

When I ordered these carboxy therapy masks from NSC I was clueless, thought I was just ordering a couple of facial masks. Once I started to look into them I became fascinated with how they work. The short and sweet version is that they introduce carbon dioxide into the skin which then "fools" the brain into having your facial skin cells produce more collagen. There are many precedents for this in science, where you introduce something unhealthy (or deplete it of something healthy) to the body, in order to get it to produce something beneficial. Anyway, needless to say I could not wait to try one of these masks. There is a fat syringe with a halfway mark on it and two packets of paper masks along with two smaller pieces for the upper neck area. Using half of the jelly in the syringe I put it over my face and upper neck. It's best to be quick with this because the jelly will start dripping, so have the mask ready. Then I took the mask, put it over my face and pressed firmly down on it all over. The pressing down releases little bubbles that pop and sizzle, there is a short-lived burning odor and my face got a little warm. Now that the mask was saturated and well adhered I let 20 minutes go by before removing it. Aside from the burning smell which only lasts for a minute, this mask smells just beautiful. It's a light floral fragrance, not too sweet and simply delightful. When I removed the mask my face was pink for about 15 minutes. After that I could see immediate results. My skin was tighter, especially around the cheeks, and plumper... I just sat there poking my face at The Wonder of it. Even my wrinkles looked a bit smoothed out. My skin felt soft and hydrated though not as hydrated as when I use a hydro gel mask. The immediate results with this mask are nothing short of amazing. But here's the catch, the next day the benefits aren't as noticeable and the following day they had diminished more. But these masks are not just about the short-term, one must be patient for the long-term benefits as well. Besides the CO2 aspect these masks contain over a dozen plant-derived extracts, all of which are wonderful for the skin. Between the renewed collagen production and benefits of all the other ingredients, more results should be seen with continued use. Now that I've used both of these carboxy therapy masks I am pleased with how they work and hope to see more "skin" improvements in future. They are pretty pricey... These two masks were $24.95 when I ordered them. The recommendation for a complete treatment is five procedures. I wish I could afford more, especially since these NSC mask are the best priced ones around. I would definitely recommend these for anybody who is looking for a quick fix for an evening out or wants to do the full treatment.

I got this mask set to help with my facial and neck skin by hydrating it and reducing pores and wrinkles. This set comes with 2 treatments for both the face and neck that includes the gel in a syringe applicator and the sheet masks one for face and one for neck that are used in combination to achieve the intended results. This set contains only 2 treatments and I realize it will take more than 2 treatments to get the ongoing effects, I am looking for, but this is a good way to try it out. After cleansing my skin, I applied the gel and then the masks and left them on for the recommended time of 10 minutes. I cleaned my face and was impressed with the results. My skin had a nice glow, the pores reduced and the my skin felt smoother and softer as I ran my fingers over. This is a product that I would use again.

This is a truly unique mask that comes with giant syringe. It provides this amazing bubbling-up experience and actually did leave my skin looking pinky-fresh. I love it! Although there's only two uses, I think that it could be stretched to three or four. I am most certainly going to add this into my regular mask routine. I plan to do it at least once a week because I love the experience and the effects.
