This is a beautiful bag and opens up to hold a lot.

Nice looking exterior.

The exterior of this makeup bag is very nice and looks more expensive than it is. The quilted texture and stitching and the gold zipper pulls on the outside make it look designer quality. The purple color is rich and beautiful. It is a little bit smaller than I had expected, but it is still large enough to hold essential makeup items. The zippered compartment at the bottom is perfect for storing makeup brushes, tissues, q-tips, etc. The lining on the interior is plasticky and makes a crinkly sound when you touch it. A silky fabric lining would make this bag much nicer.

Good bag for the price

So the packaging and everything was good o. This, and there wasn't any of that normal packing odor you get with a lot of items. The bag itself is good and worth the price... Stitching and everything is solid and on point. The only issues I really had with it is that it doesn't open quite as widely as the photos led me to expect, making the inner compartment much more condensed and less roomy... The side pouches on the inside are kind of basic and not overly enforced so I expected them to begin losing their hold within a few weeks or month of pulling items in and out of them - though that's kind of standard anyway. All in all its a good bag and pretty well worth the price, just not quite as expansive and roomy as portrayed.
