I like to use these stainless scrubbers on our cast iron pans and some other tough dirty pots. But as you can see from our use of the regular scrubby pads, they get gnarled pretty quickly and it makes using them difficult. I always wanted to get some handles to attach to them like the ones offered, but never found some that I wanted to use or that would be reusable. I believe the ones above will be easy to change out. I think I can even use the handles on regular stainless scrubbers that I currently have. It will take a screw driver but I think it will be worth the effort! In addition to getting two of these, two scrapers are included. They are bigger than the ones I currently have that came from Lodge and one from Pampered Chef. These are easy to grab and hold. If you've never used one of these, You have to get one! They make pan and cookie sheet spills easy to clean up. I just scrape the burnt on stuff off and then it makes cleaning so much easier. I've even used them in the over to scrape up baked on spills. Things come up so easy with these tools. Thank you for making our cleaning a little easier!!

In the past, my fingers have been cut by steel wool pads while scrubbing stainless pots and pans. When I saw this, I thought it to be ingenious as it has a circular handle on top. This keeps you from having to touch the steel wool part unless absolutely necessary. One of the pads arrived a bit unraveled (picture), which makes me wonder about durability of the product. I carefully handled the bit of steel wool that had already fallen off and was in the box. The bit jutting out of the steel wool part, I cut off with a strong scissor so no one gets hurt. It cleaned a stainless pan very well, but only time will tell how long the item lasts. My experience with other pads has been that once it starts unraveling, it continues. I like the concept, and the fact that 2 came in the box, so I am giving it 4 stars.

I switched to cast iron pans years ago and have never looked back since. I have all the typical cleaning supplies for those with cast iron, I have the lodge chain pad, I have purchased chain mail in the past, and I have the brush. These are really great, because they provide a very nice stainless handle to grab ahold of, and the pad does a great job in cleaning off my pans. When I am done, I just dip the pad into soap water and rinse off. If I still want to use my chain mail, I can just wrap the chain mail around the pad on these scrubbers and again, it gives me a great handle on it and I can really scrub with that. Later I found a great use for my 2nd one that comes in this package. My charcoal grill has cast iron grates, and I have now put the 2nd scrubber in with my grill cleaning supplies. It will work well to clean off the grates after I am done to get most of the sticky stuff off. I don't think it will get down in between the grates however, but hopefully it can get down through that pretty well. I am not sure how long they will last on the grill though, grills seem to tear up about anything that you use to clean them. I am not sure what I can do with these after the pads are worn out. There seems to be a screw plate holding these on, so perhaps I can just pick up more pads later from other sellers.

I like that the two scrubbers with the scrubbing pads work quite well cleaning cast iron without scratching pots and pans, and ruining the finish on them. They are a nice size and fit my hands well and comfortably. The included scrappers also fit my hand comfortably and did a great job of scraping the grilling pans and skillets, or other pots and pans that may have food particles stuck to them. I like the quality of the scrubbers and scrappers. The stuck on foods are easily removed with out the need of super strength making clean up of the kitchen quick and without much effort. The scrubbing pads in the scrubbers are stainless steel and a bit rough. They did not scratch any of the cast iron, and removed the residue quickly. I would suggest wearing kitchen dish washing gloves when using these scrapers as they did catch on the edges of my fingernails. This resulted in my having to file the nails to prevent them from snagging or tearing off. Other than the little bit of snagging my nails, this quality set of scrubbers and scrappers is so easy to use, works well. They are easy to use and may be cleaned and dried in the dish drainer or may be cleaned in the dishwasher. Yes, I do recommend them. I enjoy the cleaning ability they have and recommend. They are a great value especially at such a low price.
