Saw this in a college bookstore as part of a journal set, and came here to find just the pen. Ordered the blue and purple - my daughter who loves writing promptly stole the blue one from me and Ive been using the purple daily. There are four little chambers for the scents and one was about 1/2 gone when it arrived but no leaking in the package I could see. There was a note about putting it back in the carrying case if you take it on a plane because it could leak with the pressure changes so I left it at home for a recent trip. I was surprised it actually writes smoothly and well. It came with an ink refill which meant I had to save the case but that tells me they think the scent it will last a long time. I dont see a way to refill the scent so thats probably their way of letting you get your moneys worth. I love a bold pen - my favorite is Ink Joy RT7 with a soft cover Cambridge spiral notebook (feels sort of velvety but flexible). This one is just a little fatter and no taper for your hand, so the feel is close but not quite as good as the Ink Joys. Also wish it came in blue ink. Been using for a few months and fragrance not noticeably lower, although I dont usually even bother opening one of the vents. I cant really smell it when its on the table even with the vents open I can smell it with them closed and up close. I tend to press the plastic top of the pen against my lips while I am deep and thought and smell it that way. Very nice in the middle of winter in Michigan and thinking about planting flowers and warmer times. I am left handed - like many others I write in such a way that my hand goes immediately over what I just wrote. I started using the ink joy because its smudged less than others, but this gets on my hand even less! I call that a huge win for lefties - Id give it 4.5 stars for the pen alone (ink could be just a tad darker and barrel just a little more tapered for holding), and 5 stars overall for the added scent. I work from home and have ADHD. I love aromatherapy but air fresheners you dont smell after a while, diffusers, you have to refill, and I dont want the moisture/humidify around a computer (my screens take up most of the desk). I had a wax warmer on a smart plug so I didnt forget to shut it off but those get intense quickly and Im still worried about the cats knocking it over (I spilled one once on carpet). Candles Id definitely forget to blow out and, cats. This isnt strong enough Id think it would bother a fragrance-sensitive office mate. Good compromise between the options and pretty good pen to boot.

Love these! Smell is strong but not overpowering. Absolutely love how smooth they write. Would definitely recommend!

I like this pen more than I thought I would, so much so that I bought several more to give as gifts. The scents are nice and work pretty well as you write to give a pleasant hint of something here and there. The pen itself is enjoyable to use, easy to grip, a comfortable diameter for my hand and the ink flows well. I think Id use this pen often even without the scent. It may be slightly top heavy but oddly that seems to actually improve my handwriting. The ink insert is on the small side. Filling 55 pages of A5 front and back spent an entire cartridge. They provide one extra refill but I was also able to find 2.75 refill cartridges of the same design online. I write everyday so the ink in two refills will definitely be gone before the scent chambers are empty. Overall I like the pen. No one needs one but it adds a little something to the day.

I love, love, love these pens. They are a tad large around but that just makes it more comfortable to grip and they write beautifully and smell lovely. You push down these little tabs at the top to release how much scent you want: 1 for a little, all 4 for a lot, but even if you open all tabs it is not over powering. The orange one, "citrus", smells like you just peeled a perfectly ripe yummy orange. The purple one, "in bloom" smells like a bouquet of flowers, but light, not over powering. The green woods scent one, "a walk in the woods" smells like I am standing in a forest but with a mix of trees, not just surrounded by pine trees, and there is a bit of mint as well that makes me think there is a cool, clean river or stream near by. You twist the bottom part to get the pen out to write. It writes in black ink very well and writes smooth. There is no hitches or fading ink when you write, and it doesn't smear either. I may replace all my pens with these!

And, it comes with a case that I can use during my travels, to ensure the oils don't leak during low pressure on a plane. I also prefer to give gifts that are both useful and unique. So, I will be purchasing these for family and friends. I highly recommend this product to anyone who needs an enjoyable sensory lift!
