The colors are either not consistent or somehow it is oxidizing in the bottle. The original porcelain I got I had more of a pink tone. It was getting really low so I bought a new set with the porcelain in it. It's past the return window now because I didn't use it right away. The new one is much more yellow and lighter. The things I do like about this is if I put on a good oil moisturizer before I put them on they go on really smooth and I am able to get full coverage. It was something I had to learn because if I don't put a good oil base moisturizer on it dries too fast and it seems to dry my skin out. It does not work well with certain moisturizers that will seem to almost peel underneath. But I am using bio oil under this and it's fabulous. It is my favorite make up, but I'm concerned about the color difference.

The coverage of this foundation is very good and a little goes a long way. I apply it with a dry sponge and dab it into my skin before smoothing it out, Since it is a soft matte and oil-control it does not have a drying appearance at all. There is a little dewey appearance which I really like. I don't find that it cakes or settles into lines. This is a good value for something that works really well.

I purchased this product out of sheer curiosity after seeing all the reviews. I have combination skin, suffer from menopausal acne, and have only a few fine lines. This foundation is well pigmented and is easily spreadable. It smooths lines and covers discoloration (scarring, hyperpigmentation) at about a medium level; although layering it can result in a "smeary" type of look and I advise against it. It works well for short events or photo shoots, giving that "air brush" appearance. However, it is not long-wearing, and gets weird looking a few hours into the day, as in it starts to break apart and flake/pill, and actually accentuates the appearance of active acne breakouts.
