My big project this year is to organize my photos and that includes all my mother's collection going back several generations. I'd gotten some small plastic cases suitable for holding the standard-sized pictures but needed a solution for the big studio-sized ones. These 2 large plastic storage pieces with snap-close lids will work great for those. I won't have to worry about silverfish getting into them and damaging the pictures of long-ago relatives.

I love plastic storage containers like these. I got the medium size, and there are SO many uses in my mind for them that Ill definitely be buying more. These would be perfect for storing Legos, Barbie or LOL Doll pieces/clothes, puzzles, and games. Theyre also great for organizing art and craft supplies. Or toss in a small sketchpad or coloring book, stickers, some markers, crayons, and/or colored pencils, a pair of scissors, and even a glue stick, and youve got the perfect busy kit for kids to take along wherever you go! These boxes are nice and sturdy, and the latch closes securely but is also easy for almost anyone to open. While they dont have a locking mechanism to ensure they wont open if knocked over or carried the wrong way, theyre perfect for at-home or office storage.

I ordered the smaller set. They are just slightly larger than the cardboard box I was using for my sewing kit. The dimensions are as listed for the smaller set advertised. The boxs weight came in at 8.1 oz vs the 8.5 listed. They are translucent enough that I can see the thread spools and know the contents of the box. The two boxes were delivered in a padded paper envelope and arrived unbroken wrapped in shrink wrap. The internal dimensions are approximately 7 5/16 wide X 10.25 L and 1.75 high. They appear strong enough to support moderately heavy containers stacked on them.

Although there's multiple uses for this organization box, the small scale 'medium' size will be limiting. The plastic material appears to be sturdy and the translucent color allows for easy and quick visibility of contents. Unfortunately, the method of opening and closing the box falls notably short since it lacks a quality and more secure latch. Rather, the box is opened / closed by pulling the two locking clasps outward to release from tiny plastic tabs. Due to the substandard fabrication of an essential sturdy and quality latch mechanism (and overpriced cost for this product), it fails to warrant a 5* rating. However, it is certainly a useful storage box that will accommodate smaller and lighter weight items.
