These sheers are pretty nice, almost down to the nut they look like a pair of ARS brand shears I bought that are made in Japan. The two biggest differences are the handle coating and the shape of the blade. The handle is a has a little more texture, but it doesn't seem quite as tough. Also, on the originals, the blade comes to a very fine point. In these shears, the blade tip is rounded off. There are a couple of bolts at are also quite a bit closer to an edge that make me thing that these won't be quite as durable as the originals, though I'm sure they're far outlast the plastic Fiskers I've used before. In the end, these are a pretty great shear for the price, and any complaints I have are really just nitpicking.

This set of pruners have become my new favorite. I find myself reaching for these first these days. The build and material used on these is definitely quality. I have no doubt these babies will last a long time. I love the Locking feature I think it's genius.

These are nicely designed, with a good grip that doesn't slide around, and an easy to use lock on the handle for when you need to stash them. I have found them easy to sharpen as well, which is super important to me. They aren't really large enough for thick branches, but for trimming back roses, deadheading daisies, and removing the water sprouts around my plum tree, these are very good.

First off, this thing needs a berry safety lock. all you have to do is squeeze the handle together and it unlockes, and it's very easy to squeeze, so keep it out of reach from children. Other than that these pruning sheers work great, I cut limbs almost 1/2" diameter with no issue.
