This is a great little notepad for quick notes but I would recommend transferring those notes to a more permanent medium relatively quickly afterwards because it does have a tendency to erase easily. This is great for on-the-go and I keep it next to my desk so I can make a list of bills or things I need to order and easily erase them as I go, but if it's a list I need long-term, I would probably use something else. Still, this is portable and super easy to use so if you need something convenient, this is a good bet.

I work as a substitute teacher, and find that an appalling number of kids have nothing to write on with them (though I understand them not wanting to carry the extra weight) so I like having dry erase surfaces with me to help explain concepts (usually math). I liked the idea of this one because it has two sides and seemed like it would be lightweight and easy to use. Which it is, definitely. Very lightweight, easy to use, fits right into my backpack, and is very easy to clean. The two drawbacks I found were (a) the pens it comes with are needlepoint pens, super small nibs, which is not my preference, especially when I'm trying to illustrate something for students to see. (b) the actual writing surface is not like a firm, hard whiteboard, but more like a mildly squishy, glossy softer surface. It feels weird to write on, like I'm going to puncture it with the needlepoint tips. I didn't, and I don't think I will, but it does feel weird to write on and is not what I expected. All in all, it does what it advertises, and it's useful to be sure. As I said, it is lightweight, easy to carry around, easy to clean, and you can write on it just fine. It's not quite what I'm looking for personally, but objectively speaking, it is a very useful tool in a pinch, if you don't mind the things that I mind.
