They seem to be very strong and well-made. The might be a bit warm, but they can fit somewhat loosely, so should be ok. Very nice looking, and I like the option to attach the leash in front or on the back.

Our little guy is 9.5 inches at the neck & 14 around the chest, so we had to adjust it down a lot, but it fits him nicely now! He was new to the whole harness thing in February when we adopted him. This has been the first one of the 5 weve tried (we tried step in, then over head, even tried a cat harness) that he settles down to put on and take off fairly quickly. It looks so cute on him, and having front & back rings, a handle, and being reflective were all things we really were pleased to find together. We had planned to use the front ring for the leash, but his walking skills have improved enough over the past month we dont need to anymore. Theres no sign of damage at this point, just some dirt spots, which is expected being rural and taking ~3 walks a day. Photos with the blue leash are from after a month of daily use.

This ended up being the winner for us after trialing several harnesses. Our pup is a 50 lbs. pittie/bulldog mix, neck 18 in. and chest 29 in.we got the size L. The straps take some practice to adjust and the instructions arent the clearest; we had to go back and readjust it a few times over multiple walks. But once we finally got it right, it fit him significantly better than any of the other harnesses we tried. Having the four buckles is a game-changer, too: no need to worry about putting it over his head or getting him to step into it. It feels pretty darned sturdy considering the price, including the metal connection points, and we really like the minimal profile that keeps most of his back uncovered and cool. The blue and orange checkered pattern is a unique combination that we dont see elsewhere, and it looks great against his black coatso handsome! That said, I do wish they offered a better selection of colors/patterns overall. As for the no-pull part, it works just like any other harness in this category. We use a double-hook lead and connect one hook to the front ring and one to the back. Hes leash reactive to other dogs and it functions as well as it could, and it doesnt slide around overly much. One thing I might wish for is a slightly more substantial back handle with more padding and black piping around it for better visibilityall of which would be helpful when you need to locate and grab it in a hurry. Again, just a really nice harness for the price. In fact, because its so affordable, we can order one or two more to hold on to in case the design changes drastically or it gets discontinued (which hopefully it wont)!
