Solid leash, good quality leather

This is Shamus. He is 115 lbs and loves to pull, even with a halter. I prefer to use leather leads with him because they have a slight give that doesn't jerk too hard on his head or neck when he pulls towards something interesting. This leash is made from good quality leather, and it's not too stiff in your hands, although it will obviously, like all leather goods, soften a bit over time with use. We go through about one new leather leash per year, and this one is an solid value for the price. All in all, both Shamus and I are very happy with his new leash.

This is a very nice strong leather dog leash. It arrived nicely packaged, and the leather is good quality and the clasp is well made. This leash is medium strong and the ends are braided. It works well with my large breed dog for dog walking and any minor corrections. I have no concern about this leash breaking apart or that I will be unable to correct my large breed dog if needed. The leather edges are soft and not rough. This leash and the edges are more finished compared to some other dog leashes. Overall, this dog leash is EXACTLY what I wanted for dog walking. Very good quality

The QUMY Leather Dog Leash 6ft, Heavy Duty Dog Training Leash for Large and Medium Dogs is a very well made genuine leather leash. The leather is good quality, strong and soft. The workmanship is good and the brass hardware is good. I have had a lot of dogs and a lot of leashes. In fact the little guy this leash is for is at the vet now getting his last booster. Given that he tripled in size the first week we had him we believe he will be a good size dog, which is a good thing since we got him as a companion for our Shepherd. I think this is the nicest leash I have ever had, and have no difficulty recommending it. I like genuine leather, and have worked with leather... so I can be critical, but am very happy with the quality of this leash.

I have a 95 lb German Shepherd, so we require a really strong leash, just in case. But I also want a leash that looks nice. For me, a brown leather leash with gold-toned hardware is THE classic look. And its a no-brainer b/c it looks great while also being the best quality option. And to top it off, it looks expensive but actually ISNT! This leash will last forever as long as you dont let your dog chew on it. It feels great in your hand, too (Ive had a leather leash in the past that had borderline sharp edges somehow). You could even get this as a gift for a new dog owner, its nice enough!
