Did the job

My senior husky/lab had a large granuloma removed and this worked well to cover his sutures. It's lightweight and breathable, we got an XL and it fit him well but the straps were a little too long. It still worked well enough to keep, I think the Large would have been too small. He didn't seem to mind wearing it or sleeping in it. Just a heads up it is not chew proof! Should be washed on gentle cycle or handwashed and line dried as the velcro stitching isn't the greatest.

Our 35 lb beagle ended up being between sizes so we used the larger of the two and rolled up the sleeve. Much better than the plastic cone and worked just as well.

Does NOT prevent licking, thin material

This is basically thin, tshirt type material It will NOT prevent a dog from licking and irriating a wound I tried it on them & they pretty easily figured out that they can just still lick right through the material to get at their wound I got another sleeve that was much better & thicker that worked like I needed What I did enjoy using this product for was for allowing the dog to relax more comfortably when I was able to supervise & watch them However I would never have paid $20 bucks for it and the product images and descriptions are quite misleading at best For major wounds I would not get this product as a prevention if your dog is the type to try & lick the wound The straps are also extremely long & hang off weirdly. I followed their measurement guidelines & got an XL as recommended it was too large. I would have returned and gotten a L, but as I only used this occasionally for comfort rather than prevention didn't bother

Design is great, materials, size chart and Q.C. are Terribile. The velcro came off upon the first removal. I took it to my seamstress to patternize the cuts to make one out of material that is durable

Great product, made life a lot easier!

Dog had a 3 1/2 incision/stitches where the front leg meets the chest. This sleeve worked perfectly to cover the stitches without rubbing on them. It goes up high enough on the leg that there was no chance of licking. Allowed our guy to function without a cone for the 2 week healing period. It is a good quality fabric, not too thin, but breathable. Easy to put on and take off and velcro made it easy to adjust. It can be used on either leg, a great design! The sleeve was a tad too long but can be rolled (and it stays put). Washable (and I dried it in the fryer. We took it off for our walks just to let the incision get some air, but we could have just as easily left it on. We have a size XL, which was perfect. Our dog is 73 lbs., leg 13, chest 31. Best $$ spent.
