HUGE

So, these are great but they are huge. Even though I read the measurements I guess I just didn't realize how big they were. They are made well--very sturdy. Just not sure what I'd use them for, yet. One of them came bent up but not a big deal because there are so many. They may come in handy for my daughter's wedding dress.

sturdy but not very sharp

I chose these to use in my sewing workshop. They're very large, sturdy pins-- but the tips aren't terribly sharp. They will work well for loosely woven fabrics, but don't easily pierce most regular fabrics found in clothing. I often use them to hold tags onto the hook of clothes hangers, since that doesn't require very sharp pins. They're nicely manufactured-- smooth, shiny, and regularly shaped. No visible defects, no visible rust or soiling. Nicely packaged in a reclosable clear plastic box.

good sturdy safety pins

These safety pins are exactly as advertised. They are every bit of 3 inches with a sturdy clasp and solid build. Pins are crafted from steel, are nickel plated and colored gold. They have a nice shine to them. Great for crafting. They don't bend unless you really forcibly try to bend them. Good value with 60 pins for $10. Nice product.

JUMBO PINS!

These are enormous - 3 inches long, and well made. They remind me of the safety pins in Looney Toons. The metal is nice and thick and the pins are a lovely warm brass color. Theyre well made and easy to use.

When these arrived, I opened what must be the nicest plastic container holding 60 great quality safety pins. HOLY COW, BATMAN! These are the biggest safety pins Ive ever seen! And are they sharp! Ouch! Watch out, be careful, and measure, measure, measure! 3 inches is a LOT bigger than it sounds like. The thickness of the wire used to make these pins is going to leave a very large hole, so you wont want to place it more than once. And did I tell you how sharp they are? Ouch! I rate these Safety Pins 4 Stars... no, no Wait... 5 Stars! (Just gotta love that plastic case!)
