I bought this one to replace my old dingy one. This got a nice grip to it and easy to clean dishes with. Its very strong and can handle scrubbing. The way you fill it is perfect, keeps it from leaking and the cap closes tightly.

For the grody shower that you are dreading to clean: Fill this up with half vinegar and half Dawn dishwashing liquid. Fill a spray bottle up with the same mixture. Spray down the shower and go do something else for a while. Return and scrub the shower down. Thereafter, keep the brush full and in the shower (they sell suction brush holders) and every time you take a shower, just pick a wall and give it a quick scrub. No more suffering, no bending over, no having to remember to find a sponge or shower cleaner. You are there, it's ninety seconds of your life. Over the course of a week, the entire shower gets clean. It works excellent on tubs too.
Works fairly well, but wears out quickly. Ten in package so don't have to hunt for them in stores which are frequently out of them.
I received the same 'sponge wand' pictured on ZeeBooth. (I didn't picture the 7 spare sponges.) Notice the gray screw cap removed from the end, the same as pictured. To address all the negative reviews about leaking from one end or the other: the screw cap must be air-tight or soap will leak through the threads and cheap soap will definitely leak from the sponge! Pictured is a roll of cheap Teflon tape. And you can see it wrapped around the threads. I wrapped around the threads about 15 circles, maybe more. No worries, the cap will definitely screw on. And with proper Teflon tape use, it will not leak from the cap. Additionally, this secure seal helps prevent soap from leaking from the sponge. Other thoughts... There is No Way the sponge is coming off the wand. There is a gray plastic clip the needs to be depressed to disengage. How long do they last? Depends on use. For us, about a week to 10 days cuz we don't have a dishwasher machine. With a little Teflon tape, this is the best dishwashing soap wand we've ever used. (lots of years. :)
