This really worked for me. Its all natural and it gave me the ability to get a good nights sleep.

I had been struggling with staying in my usual deep, restful sleep for months. After trying a 10 mg melatonin as well as an herbal sleep tincture, this product is the one that seems to be working most consistently for me. Use as directed and wait to take until 30 minutes before you get into bed. It seems to kick in fairly quickly. So far, so good! I am relieved to be sleeping soundly again!

I have been having a lot of trouble sleeping this summer (I just finished a particularly grueling year of graduate school). I cant take melatonin, and didnt want to go on prescription sleep aids. I tried Shut Eye and love it! For me it took a little more than a week to really start working but I think that is because I had had so much trouble sleeping up to that point. I love that its natural and that I dont need to take it every night (I dont like dependence on any sort of pills). My one complaint is that I notice when I dont take it I tend to immediately have trouble sleeping, so if I forget to take it at a reasonable hour I will have trouble sleeping that night. I had been depending entirely on Melatonin to sleep at night. I was up to 30 Mg per night, but even that amount was not really effective. I knew I needed something else, and I only wanted natural ingredients. Looking through the choices offered to me through ZeeBooth, Shut Eye seemed right and at a reasonable price. It has worked very well for me. The first couple of nights, I tapered off so much Melatonin until i was down to the 10 Mg included in Shut Eye. I sleep very comfortably and peacefully, usually for two sleep cycles (3 hours). By then I need to get up to empty my bladder. And then, I am able to get right back to sleep again. I couldn't ask for better than that. Good, non-chemical sleep, able to wake if necessary, then easily back to sleep again. And in the morning...clarity. No fogginess or sleeping pill hangover.

Shut-Eye helps calms my brain so I can fall asleep at night. I take two, don't worry about trying to fall asleep, and before I know it I am asleep. The melatonin triggers the initial sleep response, while the 5HTP converts to melatonin (as needed), prolonging the sleep response; the GABA and L-theonine calm racing thoughts, and the herbals help calm my brain down. (The magnesium supports in many ways, from calming the nervous system to reducing circulating cortisol to supporting the absorption and uptake of the amino acids.) Occasionally, I wake during the night and take 1-2 more to help me get back to sleep easily. The only time (at night) that this doesn't work for me is when I haven't been getting good sleep on a regular basis: Contrary to popular belief, melatonin doesn't directly trigger a sleep response; it triggers normal nighttime behavior. (Even mice manufacture melatonin before waking to a night of foraging.) So if your last several nights have been late or lacking in sleep, melatonin can actually trigger your body to continue that unwanted response. Normally, it doesn't take me long to break out of a cycle like this, either naturally or with the aid of some mitochondrial support. Long-term, I know that the way to restore my neurotransmitter and adrenal function is to heal my gut and microbiome, detoxify, and develop better sleep habits (less blue light in the evenings, earlier bedtime), but there are so many factors that can affect sleep, and sleep affects everything else, so taking Shut-Eye to support my sleep is one of my primary health strategies. I wish it didn't contain dextrose as a moisture control, but I prefer it to the previous rice flour.
