Helps your overzealous eaters

My pup is very food focused and scavenges as much as she can and scarfs down her meals in about 60 seconds. This helps so much, she now takes about 5 minutes to finish eating her meals, allowing her to feel being full and stop begging. I didn't want to get another bowl, since I had a matching set of food and water bowls that fit into an elevated stand, so this allowed me to keep my current setup just slow down her feeding. They suction cup to the dish making sure it doesn't slip out, but pulls out easily for cleaning. I wish I had gotten this years ago!

I was so happy to find this silicone insert. I wanted to keep my dog's ceramic bowl as we try to eliminate plastic as much as possible and this allowed me to use his existing bowl and still have a slow feeder. It has a bunch of tiny suction cups on the bottom and sticks instantly to wherever you place it. The black looks nice and it washes up very easily!

I got this for my little corgi. She's a baby rhino, and she needs to eat a bit slower. She's always done with food so fast that she's usually done in a minute flat. So far there hasn't been any health complications other than she wants more, because she doesn't allow the food to settle. That's what I was hoping that this would do for her. The suction cups on the bottom adhere to most solid surfaces. I took the extra time to clean it after arrival, and they immediately wanted to stick to the countertop next to my sink, haha. So I know they work. They haven't moved in the bowl, either. I got an automatic feeder for my pup, to better portion her meals and to not be tempted, myself, to give her more. It fits within that feeder bowl simply fine, though it is about half the size in circumference. It sits below where the food is spit out by the machine, and that's what I wanted. Unfortunately, if the food piles up around the silicone instead of IN it, it only slows her down a little bit. Over the last couple of feedings, she's added almost another minute. Timed, she's about 2.3 - 2.5 minutes on feeding instead of 1. I should count that as a success, though I wish it was a little more. On the bright side, she doesn't burp after the food anymore. I'm glad that she's a medium-sized dog. If she were any bigger, this insert wouldn't have much affect at all. Overall, I'd say it had the intended affect. I just wish it was a tiny bit more.

Our pug inhales her food. This makes it so that 60 seconds turns into 5-10 minutes. It's great. Might be a little uncomfortable for the pug but she enjoys it. Would probably get one that has shorter edges for a short snout pup. Easy enough to clean. Great suction. I was worried that she would get it off but it holds strong! (Ceramic bowl)

Needs more sizes

This product works well, I just wish it came in more sizes for bigger dogs. My dog doesnt seem to be a fan of the feeder, but it works well. The suction cups are strong enough not to move around when hes eating.
