Our large breed is very gentle with his toys and having purchased a similar pillow earlier in the year I knew that this one would be a win. It is! This is a lovely pillow and very soft. The filling is not substantial, but enough for him to rest his paw over it for minor support. It does come with a tag on it that I cut off, something that pet manufacturers need to consider (most dogs will chew it off and eat).

This pillow is a crescent shape with small semi-circle "ears", star pattern, and embroidered hatch marks. The cover is made from shaggy faux fur fleece, and the pillow seems to be filled with regular loose batting. The pillow is very small. It would only be a chin rest or plush fetch toy for my medium-sized dogs. I think this could be cute addition to a cat bed, or maybe as a cozy area for a guinea pig or rabbit? Overall, it is kind of an odd item, and wasn't a good fit for my fur babies.

Where do I begin? This pillow is CHEAP. If youre in the US, you could find something like this at Five Below for less than 5 bucks. The material is super thin. If you have a destructive dog? This pillow wont last a minute. It doesnt even have a lot of stuffing inside it. It really feels more like a dog toy rather than a pillow, which is what my dogs think it is. I ordered it because I have one particular dog that LOVES pillows. She keeps stealing my decorative throw pillow on the couch so I thought I would get her a pillow of her own. You cant even call this a pillow. The product pictures with the Boston and Golden laying on it make it look much bigger than it actually is. As you can see from MY photos, its barely bigger than my hand, and all my dog can use it for is a funny hat. I looked at the dimensions and theyre not accurate. The only thing accurate about the product description is that it glows in the dark. It does. But why? I dont know. I dont think glowing in the dark is going to make it more appealing to my dog. Its a silly feature put there only for humans. That also makes me believe that its probably not safe to be chewed on because it has glow in the dark material. So I cant even let my dogs use it as a toy. Skip this product. Its not worth the money. Its a cheap dog toy at best. Im better off buying my dog her own throw pillow rather than using this.

Nice and soft with a lot of stuffing so it makes for a great resting place - would also make a great human pillow if it was larger (real comfortable fabric and fill). At first my pup thought it was a new toy (she thinks everything is a new toy) and played with it for a while but eventually tired herself out and laid down to snuggle with it. She now sleeps with it in her crate and actually puts her head up on it or snarfels her face in to it to fall asleep - super cute. She has medical issues where she needs to sleep with her head elevated and we had been shoving towels under her bedding to raise her head but she seems to like using this pillow herself without coaching her. She loves it - so we love it to. Highly recommended. Now if they sold it in a giant sized version that she could "swaddle" in and wrap around her that would be spectacular.
