This is the cutest cat bowl ever. It looks just like a cat standing up. I purchased it because my cat has been vomiting after eating lately not every time but enough times to know something needs to b done or changed. I'm hoping this bowl is it.

More like messy feeder haha! My cat hates it he makes a mess after every eat. I liked the looks of it thats why I got it. I ended up turning it upside down and it works better as it holds more food. Less mess too. I thought it was made out of ceramic but its plastic. I dont mind that because you dont have to be so careful when washing. Overall quality is good and it looks cute my cat is just picky.

Loved that this bowl makes our cats slow down while eating, they were making themselves sick eating so fast and racing to each others bowls to finish the others food. However, they were not happy with the new bowls at first, after about a week they mastered the grooves and now eat slower.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for an elevated slow feeder cat dish to slow down my gobbler. Santina, my deceptively sweet kitty on the left maintains a suitable 7 lbs and eats daintily, with an appropriate pace for her stomach. Paloma, on the right, is a notorious food hound. Keeping her from ballooning into twice the delightful cat that she already is has been my objective. She also tends to vomit if she eats too fast. I found a couple silicone slow eating bowls (cute! Shaped like fish! Easy to clean! But I had to elevate them on overturned water bowls!) and they seemed to help. It Paloma learned to shove her face into the silicone nubs that lined the bottom of the bowl, and then forcefully rake her jaw along the nubs, wolfing down the food. Ugh. I read all the reviews in these bowls after a long search for a slow feeder that was elevated and easy to clean. Some reviews complained that their cats couldnt get to all the food. To that I say, their cats are possibly not as food motivated or obsessed as Paloma. These bowls are for the truly food obsessed cat. They slow them doooooooown. The melamine is durable and easy to clean. I like the depth and overall size of the dish. Its a win I would buy these again!

The ridged bowl is helpful with avaricious eaters. Slows them down.
