This pack of dental picks contains 160 pieces in a plastic storage box. Each pick is attached in a line of 10 which breaks off of each other for use. The plastic storage box is not the same as the one in the description, it is thinner/flimsier. With that being said, the picks work well for flossing with the little bristles on the tip of the pick, however depending upon the spaces between your teeth, the pick has a tendency to bend and break on the tip. Also, the slim design, although it contains an anti-slip design, is small and delicate compared to your ordinary dental picks. The opposite end or tail of the pick has a pointed end to help release hard to reach debris, however I found that sharp and difficult to use at all. This design would be more helpful removing food particles from braces, as they would be used slowly, more precisely than an everyday dental pick. A product that you may consider for your oral health routine, but again, I recommend it for small narrow spaces like braces.

I like the concept of these scrubbing toothpicks with flat, grippy handles. It's definitely more functional than a traditional wooden toothpick! However, these claim to be meant to scrub in between the teeth (interdental spaces), and that just isn't happening for me with these picks. They're too large diameter to fit between my teeth, even the most widely spaced teeth, and while I know that some of my teeth are crowded, it's disappointing that these picks are too big to fit even where there's a bit more room in my mouth; I can floss, after all, so it is possible to make a product that would fit. Perhaps it wasn't possible to make the picks sturdy enough if they made them thinner. The flat side is really easy for me to hold onto; much easier than a round pick. The sharp point is the most useful part of the pick to me, since I can't really use the scrubbing head as intended. The box the picks come in is a fairly large case made of thin, translucent plastic; it's perfectly adequate to keep the picks organized and clean. The picks are lightly joined together in sets of 10, and you snap one off at a time for daily use. I like them, on the whole--they just don't work for my teeth.

I really wanted to like these but for some reason upon opening the sealed package these smelled like mildew. I want to believe its an offgas from the plastics used in the product but even if this is the case why is something smelling this bad that Im going to put into my mouth? The product seems well made, I have sanitized and tested them and they are certainly great at their job, but why so smelly?

This dental floss pick set is great for braces and small spaces. The box doesn't latch all that well and is somewhat flimsy but works if you need to bring it along with you (just make sure it's fully closed so it doesn't spill). The pick itself, though, seems to do the trick in those hard to get spots when you can't fully use floss.
