Great for elderly Mom

I got this for my Mom who is partially blind. The lip on the one side of the bowl is great! She's right handed so she will scoop up a bite towards the left which is where I make sure that lip stays then all of her food stays in her bowl. Now she can eat soup, cereal, oatmeal, etc. I don't use the suction bottom because Mom uses placemats. The bowl goes right in the dishwasher. I love it and she does too. She can see it good too because it's red. I highly recommend this bowl for visually impaired or even those that have issues feeding themselves.

Worth the money!

My MIL is a total care quadriplegic that has only very limited use of her left hand (she is right handed before her accident). I use the plate and bowl everyday for 4 mo and they still stick to the table. One review complained about a toddler being able to detach the bowl, but if a handicap person uses them correctly they dont move. Good thing is the suction piece comes off and you can wash it good, but that is a little annoying because sometimes it can aggravate you putting it back on. My only other nitpicking complaint is the suction is so good that if I have to pick the plate up to adjust it the plate will come off without the base and I have to put it back on. I have only hand washed them but they seem to being holding up. The suction piece I feel is getting a little worn hence the reason they are a little annoying to put back on, but they are working.I am going to order 2 more sets. Easy to use. Highly recommend! She loves them because it opens up opportunities to eat more things because she can feed herself without it spilling over.
