I am so impressed with this set. Each model teaches some physics, electricity, etc. The set is designed for teachers to use. The instructions are printed on two sides of an 8.5" x 11" sheet - I have attached photos of each individual project that you can print in order to have them in a larger size. My last photo show the whole page. At the top of each page you can read the science principles that the model is designed to teach. The generic box says "Preschool Toy" but it is definitely not preschool. Middle school with an adult helper would be appropriate. The wires need some dexterity and finesse in handling. This is an awesome set for a kid who loves science. I recommend it.

Very difficult for kids to manage screws to build the robots on their own. The picture instructions are way too small to see the details of what your next step is. Some of the pictures show pieces that are different from what was provided. But once the robot is made, the kids really enjoyed it.

We had a birthday party for my grandson (turned 7), and we decided to do things a bit differently. Instead of the typical bounce-house kids usually get, I came across this idea for the kids to make it different and keep them entertained. MISSIONS ACCOMPLISHED!! They LOVED assembling the roadster and the car, and the robot was a hit as well. My son-in-law is Mr. HandyGuy, so he was on duty to assist the kids if they ran into trouble. All the parents commented how this was a great idea, instead of "another bounce-house cuz they're kids". All the materials were included, and each child had their choice of what they wanted to build. I did have a couple of other kits as well, which allowed us to surprise the kids at the end of the party and let them take their creations home. And they ALL worked as described!!! I'm happy I chose something different and it makes me happy it was such a hit. Not just with the kids, but the parents as well!!!

First, the good. The kit comes with 5 different projects to make and all of the parts are separated by project. It also comes with instructions and 2 screwdrivers. The projects are fun to put together and all of them work after being put together. Now for the cons. The instructions are not great. They are very small pictures and writing. I had to use my phone to magnify the pictures. The parts are also tiny, especially the screws. Most younger kids will not have the fine motor skills to put these together. I worked on these with my seven year old, as there was no way he would have been able to figure them out on his own.

I got this STEM science robotics kit for my 6 year old son for his birthday. He received lots of other gifts but this one he opened right away and started putting the fans together. There are 5 different projects and they are easy enough for an older child to do alone but yet a little challenging and it is doable for smaller kids to do it with a little help from an adult. I must say I was impressed when my son was able to put a few of these together and so proud. These are fairly simple robotic projects but so helpful to develop children's interest in robotics. My son loves robots, battle bots etc. so this was the perfect gift for him. The only negative is that the pieces are so small and sometimes hard for my son's little hands to screw. This is an absolute must have, it is a great educational toy with a super value. I absolutely recommend this product.
